Hanauma Bay

We ventured out to Hanauma Bay. Both Seth and I have memories of going there when we were young. This is overlooking the bay at the visitors center, where we watch a movie about conserving the bay before we could hike down to the bay.

The hike down is short and sweet but steep. Jake insisted on walking down "byself." Until he almost got hit by a tram car. Then we got hold of his hand.

Getting set up to snorkel. Sam and Ellie are both comfortable in the water snorkeling, which makes it so fun to explore the ocean with them. Its a new world of water and its amazing to all of us mainlanders. Sam and Seth snorkel for over an hour together. They saw 4 sea turtles. Great fun.

I would say, Jake and Jayne have become very close in the the last two weeks. She has taken interest in him to play with her. He is mostly put into the position of servitude, usually in the form of a puppy. She trains him and gives him treats as well. She is really cute with him and he loves her attention. Here they are playing on the beach together while we took turns snorkeling in the bay.

This is Jake showing off his "Pirate Booty" swimsuit. Pirate Booty is our kids favorite snack and they think its hilarious because he has a pirate on his booty.

  1. This whole post is incredible, but what I really can't get over is Samo's swagger in the first picture. So steezy.
